Our Resources & Policy

Tesfa Berhan has a variety of resources, including operating manuals, rules, procedures, and strategic plans. In addition to the materials offered hereunder, Tesfa Berhan has the most policies and procedures. These include financial management, procurement, backup processes, travel rules, resource mobilization, M and E strategies, and the human resources development and administration. Additionally, it offers a variety of planning documents, reports, and training materials.

    Tesfa Berhan has Child Safeguarding policy in recognition to safeguard the interests, rights and welfare of all children and young people with whom it is in contact. It recognizes its responsibility to take all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and to protect children from harm, abuse and exploitation. Tesfa Berhan believes that this policy sends a clear message that child exploitation and abuse is not tolerated and attracts disciplinary and commercial sanctions, as well as criminal penalties under the law of the country. The policy applies to all board members, staffs, contractors, visitors, auditors, volunteers, consultants, donors and other partners who are working with Tesfa Berhan.

  • PREVENTION OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION ABUSE AND HARASSMENT (PSEAH)

    This policy sets out Tesfa Berhan’s approach to prevent sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse. This includes our commitment to prevent and ensure effective action is taken whenever problems occur. Tesfa Berhan has a zero-tolerance on exploitative and abusive relationships. It also not tolerate behavior that endangers the security of employees or the organization or brings either into disrepute. The policy applies to all Tesfa Berhan’s board members, employees of all forms, volunteers, consultants, contractors, partners or any other representatives associated with the delivery of our programs during and outside normal working hours.

  • Strategic Plan of Tesfa Birhan 2022-2027

    Tesfa Berhan CFDO is in the fourth era of it strategic plan. The current strategic period covers the years from 2022 to 2027. The strategic priorities are quality programming, child safeguarding & advocacy, digital transformation, widening the reach, vibrant governance and management. It has planned to reach more than 429462 participants, of which 202957 children, 14117 youth, 78504 adults and 133884 community members. Out of the direct project beneficiaries 6112 (10%) will be persons with disabilities. The resource requirement of the plan is 527, 048,777.00 ETB.

  • Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

    This policy deals about Tesfa Berhan’s policy regarding to the prevention and investigation of suspected misconduct and dishonesty by board members, employees and others with a business relationship with the organization. Tesfa Berhan identifies and promptly investigates any suspected fraudulent or related dishonest activities against the organization; and then takes appropriate disciplinary and legal actions that include the possibility of termination of employment, restitution, and forwarding information to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.

  • Communication Guideline

    Tesfa Berhan is committed to effective dissemination and receipt of information and communication within the organization and with participants’, stakeholders, and the media. The guideline is to provide guidance in implementing communication activities, increase visibility and finally support the achievement of Tesfa Berhan’s strategic objectives. This guideline also applies to all Board members, staff, and volunteers and participants.
